Most of California forests are closed do to fire danger. Parked above Perazzo Meadows I sat and sketched the view. Then a line of cows crossed through the grasses.

The hailstorm aftermath was still covering this beautiful little path thru mountain mahogany up on Juniper ridge this morning. The storm ripped off aspen leaves, pine needles and other debris that left the scent of fresh cut greens in the chilled air this morning.
