Day two and three on Hwy 267

Over the years painting this grove I like to experiment with different size canvas with backgrounds that may or not be actually there. This first one is with the pines behind the trees. The weather is warm, no smoke or wind. So I keep coming back.

This is a large canvas for a plein air painting.
It is exciting to paint each day and see the changes in the trees. In the photos above you can see the leaves changing from green to yellow.
