Marin County uses goats for fuel reduction and vegetation management. They are owned by Star Creek Land Stewards Inc. These paintings have been named after invasive plants that the goats clear off hillsides. This week I had a chance to meet Bianca the project manager for Star Creek, I am excited to plan on painting more goats soon.
These goats were grazing up behind my house last August in Terra Linda. I enjoyed meeting Raul from Peru who was the herder for this group. Here are the seven paintings on panels from that herd. A percentage of the sales price of these painting will to to FIRESafe MARIN.
