The second of three paintings from my trip to Yosemite in May 2016. The fast changing weather and quick glimpses of rock gave me this image.Sometimes I feel the photo doesn’t need to be interpreted into a painting. Although I really wanted to play with the light and layers.

I like the small version and I am thinking of doing a larger, maybe 3ft by 3ft painting. Below is my photo.The point gone in a cover of rain within a minute.
