Cedarville, Modoc County. A great place for a excellent breakfast or lunch is what Surprise Café is about. I noticed this mechanical horse across the street. It had a sandwich sideboard with the “Dream Begins Here” leaning against the wall, I knew I would paint it. The sign can be interpreted as a symbol of childhood or someone’s view of the west,or love of horses. I wasn’t into riding these machines as a child, but always admired the form and colors of the horse.
