The undulating movement of sun reflections in Lake Tahoe
It is peaceful and mesmerizing to watch the sun reflections move in and out around the rocks, changing slightly in intensity and color over granite sand or smooth boulders. As the sun moves higher the reflections always change and some disappear. Same with a cloudy or foggy day. The camera takes good shots of this but nothing compares to standing in the middle of it on a rock with an easel.
Every year I do numerous small studies of Lake Tahoe’s reflections over rocks.Then time for lunch with this snake and jump in the lake. This year I did a larger studio version and plan to continue to explore more.
