Clover Valley in Plumas County California. It is located in a dirt road on Genessee Road about 70 miles north of Lake Tahoe. The Clover Valley Ranch at one time was a dairy and ranching operation. No longer in use, from the road, you can view the large historic barn, boarded up dilapidated homestead, and various outbuildings.
I can feel multiple paintings percolating in my mind. This first painting after my visit to this historic ranch, combined the clouds and abandonment of the main homestead and developed into a painting I moved into moonlight.
